Toronto International Film Festival Favs

As TIFF comes to a close there are so many magical moments to think back on. We’re recapping some of our favourite films, festivities and fashion moments from in and around King Street where we saw performances, marketing activations, screenings and street patios.
First up, Films
With so many screenings how could you choose? If you missed out, here are a couple of our film picks, along with when and where to view them next.
Western fans unite, Magnificent Seven took the first day of Tiff by storm. A remake of the original 1960’s film about a band of loners who defend a village from a group of outlaws. This modern Western brought diversity and humor that you might not expect from a traditional Western. If you missed Magnificent Seven you can also catch the film in theatres September 23rd.
With Amanda in stow, the Amanda Knox documentary takes its audience through emotional interview clips with those closest to the case and shines light on the salacious media coverage that many of us followed back in 2007. Who did it? We’ll leave that to you decide when you watch the film on Netflix starting September 30th.
With all the films and associated celebrities in Toronto, also comes fabulous parties and 4 am last call. There was the Hello! Canada Party, Mongrel Media bashes at Campbell House, a star studded La La Land Premiere and much much more. One of the favourites this year was the AMBI Gala at the Ritz-Carlton. Toronto stylist Jenna Bitove shared, “It was next level and everything was beautifully orchestrated. From James Franco, to Pamela Anderson, William Baldwin and Martin short had me in stitches as the evening’s MC. I love supporting Canadian events and what better a time to do that than through TIFF.”
Naturally, TIFF is a great opportunity to check out some of your favourite star’s #OOTD moments. Here are a couple of darling looks from the red carpet:
