HP built Taylor, an AI content strategist for its channel partners
An AI teammate that builds customer-ready assets with partners, citing the source behind every claim

Growth travels through partners
HP’s growth reaches market through channel partners, which means HP’s message arrives in someone else’s voice. Many partners focused on smaller businesses run lean teams. Vendor content rarely deploys as-is, and one partner-ready asset took up to three days and involved 6 to 10 people.
In an ideal world HP would place someone who knows the brand inside out in every partner’s office, keeping every word on message. That does not scale. And now that AI can generate anything instantly, partners can publish more, and faster, than ever, which makes brand drift a bigger risk. When partners write on your behalf, the instinct is to add approvals. HP removed them and made the source material the control. The guardrail became the library rather than the reviewer.
Built to be trusted
Taylor, an AI content strategist and copywriter, was purpose-built around approved HP, Intel and Microsoft content, so compliance came from what the AI could draw on rather than who checked it afterwards. The experience ran inside a secure workspace and cited the source behind every claim.
Taylor behaves like a colleague
Taylor builds the asset with the partner using a four-stage method called CRIT, so Taylor carries the structure and the partner simply answers. A 70/30 partner-to-vendor voice balance let content sound like the partner while staying true to HP.
Four principles shaped the build
Simplicity let partners ask in plain language. Personalization adapted outputs to each partner’s tone, positioning and customers. Trust made every claim traceable to an approved source. Activation carried a partner from concept to customer-ready content in one working session.
Built for everyday partner work
Taylor produced what partners need. Social posts, email nurtures, landing page copy, sales enablement material, campaign planning support and thought leadership, all drawn from approved knowledge libraries with compliance safeguards applied.
HP wrapped Taylor in enablement
HP wrapped Taylor in launch emails, quick-start guides, prompt examples and templates, interactive use cases, and training, alongside a dedicated landing page and web experience. The workflow changed completely. What took days and multiple reviewers now took minutes.
From pilot to platform
All feedback was positive, and HP committed to a Phase 2. A three-month test is becoming a scalable channel enablement platform.
